In the Martha Gunn tradition this mid 19th century toby jug is popular with collectors. Sitting wearing typical 19th century dress she is holding a wide stick as a cane. I love the way her feet show at the bottom of her dress. Grey hair and is called Judy of the Punch and Judy characters, she is colorfully decorated and perfect. The jug is 9 1/2" tall. Condition is excellent.

Undulating dragon handle ewer from "Wooster" is beautifully hand decorated and signed by artist (ND). Body has overall fishscale molding. Cantua flowers and ferns among large gilt leaves...the design is breathtaking. 11" Tall and some overpainting. One ridge on his tail appears to have flake under it's paint. Otherwise excellent. Many more pictures available on request. Compare to $1000-2000 elsewhere.
