This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Copeland before 1900. It was specially made for the retailer, Davis & Collimore, of New York. The saucer measures 6 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. The shape of the cup is copied from 18th century tea cups. A very lovely antique purple transferware T. Mayer Staffordshire plate in the Canova pattern that dates from 1826 - 1838.
Plate measures 8 1/2" diameter. It is in excellent condition for its age; there are a few very small nicks on the edge, no cracks or crazing. It is marked with the maker's mark and Canova T. Mayer Stoke Upon Trent.

A very lovely antique purple transferware T. Mayer Staffordshire plate in the Canova pattern that dates from 1826 - 1838.
Plate measures 10 1/2" diameter. There is some very light crazing and age discoloring that is most noticeable on the back, has no chips or cracks. It is marked with the maker's mark and Canova T. Mayer Stoke Upon Trent and also has an impressed mark.

This is a beautiful cup and saucer made at the Copeland Factory in England in 1888. The decoration is hand painted showing birds, butterfly and a dragon fly. It is very fresh and modern looking in the aesthetic style. Both pieces have the Copeland mark and are body dated 1888. The cup measures 2 1/2" tall and the saucer is 5 1/2" across. Both the cup and saucer are finished with a dentil gold border. They are in excellent condition - no chips, breaks, repairs.

This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Doulton before 1920. The saucer is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. It is decorated with swags of tiny rose buds. The surface of the cup and saucer is covered with tiny pale green enamel beads reminiscent of Coalport.
