This porcelain plate was produced in England by Cauldon in the late 19th century. The plate measures 10 1/4 inches in diameter. It is artist signed by D. Birbeck. The plate is made of fine white bone china. It is superbly hand painted with a cow and her calf in a meadow. The surrounding landscape and sky have realism and depth. We have a lovely selection of Spode available in the George III pattern and the Wildflower pattern. Available in the George III pattern are salad plates, luncheon plates, and dinner plates. Available in the Wildflower are luncheon plates, cereal bowls, bread plates, fruit bowls, cream soups, and cups and saucers. Circa 1920, excellent condition, no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Both these patterns look great arranged together.

Imari colors on this antique English Staffordshire china plate by Francis Morley & Company. This plate is also ironstone with deep cobalt flow blue colors. The beautiful pottery marks on the back date it to between 1859 and 1862. There is a small area of light stain on the border. Great display piece that measures a little over 9" across.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Brownfield in the mid nineteenth century. The name Brownfield is impressed on the back as well as a registry mark. Unfortunately, the registry mark is lightly impressed and not legible. The diameter of the plate is 9 inches. The porcelain is fine, white bone china that is reticulated around the border.
