This tremendous stoneware or faience floor vase from the Arts and Crafts period features incised, glazed floral and organic designs, the portrait of a maiden, and applied handles and exotic birds in keeping with the Japanese influence on the Aesthetic Movement in Britain during the late nineteenth century.
