This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in France by Ahrenfeldt Limoges before 1920. It was specially made for Ovington's of New York and Chicago. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The porcelain is fine and translucent. It has an ivory color. Both pieces are ornately gilded with raised gold. There are borders and bands of embossed gilding. The combination is quite elegant. This demitasse set is in excellent condition.

A lovely tuquoise glazed vase by Clement Massier. Probably made in the same period 1885/1895 as the lion I'm selling. (see my other add)
This little boy of neo classical style is dragging with him a large pumpkin. This figure is very well sculptured with great detail. It has the incised stamp on the bottom. It looks like there's a signature at the left foot but I might be wrong. Because of the glazing it's not recognizable and may not be there at all.

Old Paris French porcelain coffee cup with saucer, decorated with portraits of classical scholars and philosophers. Circa: 1800-1825. Each side of the cup bears a round cartouche with a classical portrait in profile against a maroon ground, while the saucer has three cartouches with representations of the arts and sciences. Fully gilded interior. Excellent condition with the rich gilding intact. No chips, cracks or restoration. Unmarked.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in France in the late 19th century. We believe it was produced by a Paris manufacturer who used a faux Sevres mark on it. The saucer is 4 5/8 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The porcelain is very delicate and translucent. The cup is molded with melon ribs, has a scalloped rim and a fancy handle. This is a lovely game platter made by Limoges. The platter has a scene of four white geese soaring in the sky consisting of the colors red and gold with delicately designed handles. Along with the handles the edges are lined with gilt . It is in excellent condition. The back is hallmarked with “Limoges France” (Green). The circa date ranges from 1891 to 1914. It measures 18.5” by 13” and it weights 4.5 lbs.
