This porcelain plate was produced in France by Coiffe Limoges before 1900. The plate has a diameter of 9 1/4 inches and a depth of 1 1/4 inches. The plate is fashioned from fine hard paste porcelain. It is professionally decorated and artist signed. The bright colored flowers and flowing foliage is hand painted in the art nouveau style. All of the decoration is outlined in gold. This is a truly exquisite French Limoges 11 Piece Game set. They bear the Limoges mark on the back, dating them from 1906 to 1920. Each plate is decorated with colorful birds, heavy gold decorated leaves and heavy gold trim. The plates have a lovely scalloped edge. They are signed by the artist "Barin".
