This ceramic tazza with metal fittings was produced in France by Paul Milet at Sevres before 1920. The tazza measures 15 inches across the handles and is 2 3/4 inches high. The highlight of this piece is the color of the ceramic and how the artisans created a jewel-like finish. The color flows like an opal. It appears to have texture and yet it is smooth. This porcelain vase was produced in France by Sevres before 1920. It is 10 1/2 inches high. The vase is formed in a very simple Japanese style. The ground color is deep cobalt blue with a mirror glaze. There are tiny gilded flower buds around the vase. The rim is trimmed with gold. The piece is sleek and elegant. It is in excellent condition.

A fine pair of large French Paris porcelain vases, circa 1860. The baluster form vases have a deep red enamel ground decorated with a large figural image with young women and cherubs seated over a stone fountain with carved dolphins. Condition: The first in very good condition. The second has a small fill repair on the edge of the base in the gold band at the bottom of the vase. Dimensions: Height 20", Width 9".
