Circa 1900 Pair of Continental European vases measuring 15" in height. These vases resemble the shape and form of old paris porcelain. Unfortunately they are not the quality of old paris. With this being said, they would make nice vases for a bouquet of flowers at a very reasonable price. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in France by Ahrenfeldt Limoges before 1920. It was specially made for Ovington's of New York and Chicago. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The porcelain is fine and translucent. It has an ivory color. Both pieces are ornately gilded with raised gold. There are borders and bands of embossed gilding. The combination is quite elegant. This demitasse set is in excellent condition.
