An important pair of French rectangular pot-pourri vases and covers decorated with a green ground and painted in colored reserves on the fronts with the “Madonna della seggiolla” after Raphael ( 1483 – 1520 ) and “La vierge à la grappe” after Pierre Mignard ( 1612-1695) and in white reserves on the other sides with flowers garlands. This large, antique porcelain dresser box features a hand-painted female portrait signed "Bollinger", and likely was made in Limoges France. Remants of an old paper label resides on the underside, but we have found no hallmarks. It measures 8.5" wide, 7" deep and 4" high. It weighs 2 lbs. 14 oz. (1.3 kg).
