An important pair of French rectangular pot-pourri vases and covers decorated with a green ground and painted in colored reserves on the fronts with the “Madonna della seggiolla” after Raphael ( 1483 – 1520 ) and “La vierge à la grappe” after Pierre Mignard ( 1612-1695) and in white reserves on the other sides with flowers garlands. The green ground, overlaid with gilded cartouches of trellis-work, scrolls, flowers and foliage patterns.
Very good condition.

This porcelain pitcher was produced in France by Elite Limoges in the late 19th century. It is 10 inches high and the base has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in France by Ahrenfeldt Limoges before 1920. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The ground color is a vivid rose with fancy gilding overlaying the surface. There are bouquets of flowers inside the cup and in the well of the saucer.
