This charming Ahrenfeldt Limoges 3-piece cup, saucer and plate was produced in France in the 1890's. The cup is 3 1/2 inches in diameter and 2 1/4 inches high. the saucer measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter and the plate is 7 1/4 inches.

An opposing pair of porcelain water buffalo. As finely modeled as one would expect from their Chinese inspiration. Many experts in the field do mistake these as being of Chinese Origin. It is only the underglaze mark of Vincent Jerome Dubois that gives their true identify as being French. Offered here is one of two Old Paris plates I have for sale. they are both shown, but this price is for one...either or. These are the prettiest to me. They are simple, having only a small bouquet on a white ground with a gold rim. There is very slight wear to the gold, none on the flowers. Both plates have a few tiny flecks of paint under the glaze that occurred before firing. They each are 7.5" in diameter and in very fine condition. Not marked.

This is a set of twelve fish plates, a sauce boat, and a platter, made and individually painted by the Lanternier family porcelain factory in Limoges, France; circa 1850. They have a fish design with gold slip netting, and the platter has some gold slip on outer rim as well. The plates are 9 1/4 inches diameter, the sauce boat is 4 3/4 inches tall and 7 1/2 inches wide, the sauce boat tray is 8 3/4 inches wide and 1 inch tall, and the platter is 24 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches tall.
