is porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by Haviland Limoges before 1920. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The red lettering on this cup and saucer indicates that this was a salesman's sample. It has a factory decorated garland of tiny roses. There are also gilded roses and heavy gold trim. This special tea cup and saucer is in excellent condition.

Smaller size French Confit pot. These pots are from the Southwest of France, where people would preserve their duck, goose and chickens in a thick layer of goose fat in these jars. This pot is 9 1/2 inches tall, and almost 10-inches across the handles. No hole drilled or cracks. There is glaze flaking, consistent with an older, well... Click for details

Decorated in lovely Delft blues, this French faience toby measures 11" high, and 6" wide at the arms. The character carries a snuff box and is wearing a floral decorated waistcoat. There are no breaks, cracks or repairs. There are only some rubbing to the glaze on the high points - the hat edges, the elbows, etc. There is a mark which is indecipherable to me (see photo).
