This cup and saucer was produced in Germany by a Dresden decorator before 1920. The porcelain blank was made by Hutschenreuther but there is a second mark belonging to the decorator. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 1 1/2 inches high. The decoration is entirely by hand. There are tendrils of colorful flowers done in the style of Meissen. These are magnificent service plates by Hutschenreuther Selb. Each plate is elaborately decorated with a gilt flower décor and a mint green color band on the rim. These plates can be bought separately for 50 USD or as a set for 200 USD. All of the plates are in fair condition. Each plate is hallmarked with “Hutschenreuther Selb, Baveria”(green). The circa date is 1864. Each plate measures 11” in diameter and weights 1.5 lbs.

Made by Nymphenburg circa 1870, these plates, saucers, and cups all are on a swirled porcelain blank with hand painted flowers. Each plate, saucer, and cup is different and therefore unique to the painter. The dessert plates measure 7 1/2" in diameter. The is one chip on one of the plates but otherwise, excellent antique condition.
