This cup and saucer was produced in Austria by an unknown manufacturer in the late 19th century. It has hand painted numbers and letters on the bottom of the cup which are unidentifiable. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/2 inches high. It may be used for tea or coffee. The workmanship is very similar to that of KPM, Royal Berlin or perhaps Nymphenburg. A very nice antique Meissen porcelain saucer. This piece has a small ship on the rim (see photo)other than the chip there is no other damage, cracks or repairs. This porcelain is 5 3/8 inches in diameter and sits up 1 1/4 inches.
