This pair of porcelain vases was produced in Germany by Konigliche Porzellan Manufaktur, or KPM. They were made between 1837 and 1844. This was at one time part of the Meissen factory. The vases are 4 1/2 inches high. There are faces molded into the porcelain with little ring handles coming out of their mouths. The hand painted decoration is in the Kakiemon style from China. There is gold trim on the rims and handles. This is a most unusual pair of vases in excellent condition

Early 20th Century Dresden (signed in underglaze blue on base)bowl, with the 1918-forward mark of Carl Thieme, handpainted inside and outside with flowers of pink, orange, lavender, and blue. Many hand-formed flowers all around both ends of the bowl, and tiny blue raised flowers cover the base. This is a beautiful hand painted Meissen 9 1/2" plate with a courting scene in the middle and floral reserves in the border. The plate is first quality, no scratches, and dates circa 1890.The gold inner border is superb and the new Dulong molded border is picked out in gold as well.
