A rare figural wild boar Majolica cigar or tobacco holder, circa 1890.
This Majolica cigar or tobacco holder has a wild boar next to a tree trunk with a match stick holder on the side. The details on the boar are outstanding and this piece shows wonderful use of earth tones and natural colors. The mottled blue base measures 6 5/8" diameter. Holder measures 6" at the tallest part.

This little pitcher or jug has a wonderful bathing beauty climbing up the side. It is a beautifully crafted piece from around the turn of the last century. It is made of a thin pottery and marked with a number “8761 III.” There are no chips or cracks to the pitcher body, but the fragile lady handle is crazed and appears to have several hairline cracks around the arms (see photo). A Late Nineteenth Century German Mettlach 1 liter beer stein. The stein is fitted with a pewter rimmed lid and thumb rest. The outer surface is decorated in high relief with three panels depicting drinking figures. Each reserve with descriptive text below. The base is marked Villeroy & Boch Mettlach and is incised with the number 1005. Condition: Excellent. Dimensions: Height 10 1/4", Width 6".

A Westerwald stoneware tankard with bulbous body incised and decorated in bright cobalt, the reeded neck decorated in manganese. The cartouche, with sunburst surround, containing the letters GR between a crown and angel, and with the figure 4 under the handle. Height: 7 in. mid-18th cent.There is a fine crack in the base and another (evidently a production flaw) to the edge of the foot. No other faults.

Wonderful three footed Victorian Prussian royal rudolstadt tapestry vase 19th century. The overall color of the vase is beige or an off white. Also, the main body of the vase is a tapestry of rose branches with muted rose gold flowers and pale green leaves with gilded high lights.
