This German majolica tobacco jar, dating from the last quarter of the 19th Century, measures 7" high, and 4" deep at the base. The cowl, or hood forms the lid, which fits nicely over the base (head). This piece is in excellent condition, and is quite charming since the face on the figure is so happy and attractive. Great for your tobacco, or your humidor collection.

This Stoneware Jug is done in a deep Green high gloss glaze. It has the word "Heidleberg" on the front and is also decorated with a Lion's heard on top and scrolls of flowers. I believe this jug dates to about 1900-1915 and measures 8.75" tall and is 2 5/8" wide across the base. This vintage Germany pottery vase is in excellent condition with NO chips or cracks and would make a fine addition for your collection.
