This tea cup and saucer was produced in Italy by Ginori around 1900. The saucer is 4 ¾ inches in diameter and the cup is 1 ¾ inches high. The saucer is quite deep. This demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Italy by Capodimonte in the late 19th century. The saucer is 5 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. Both the cup and saucer have molded designs of cherubs and baskets of flowers that are hand painted and gilded. The handle is branch shaped. We want to mention that there is an extra spot of slip inside the cup that dripped in the manufacture. It is a mnanufacturing flaw that does not compromise the excellent condition of this set....
