This extremely nice pitcher was made for the Bols gin company in c. 1899. It is well marked on the underside with the bottle mark of De Porceleyne Fles, "Delft", and 'L or R' U. and H. It's a pity the pitcher is not in 100% excellent condition; foot rim chip, small chip on the upper rim and on a few places the paint is stained. Soft Pastel Villeroy & Boch Majolica Plate

A very fresh and cheery small V&B majolica dessert plate with daisies and forget-me-nots. The background color of this plate is somewhere between turquoise and green. It is 8 inches in diameter, and other than two absolutely tiny fleabites or manufacturer's flaws on the outer rim and a definite manufacturer's flaw next to a budding daisy in perfect condition. The plate has the VBS marking used by the factory in Septfontaines, Luxemburg. Circa 1880-1900.

This is a Royal Copenhagen reticulated botanical plate (Floradanica), circa 1880. It has a pierced edge with points done in serpentine form. The name of the plant is on the back - Hydrocaris Morsus ranae L. It measures 10" in diameter.
