Small early Gouda handled jug in the "Fredy" pattern. Oriental leaves around the bottom and above that a chrysanthemum pattern in a Japanese or rather geometrical manner, all in reddish-brown and dark blue, with blue dots. Height:" 5 ½ /13,5 cm. Simple "fork" mark for 1918. Condition: fine.

Early Gouda vase in the "Fredy" pattern, of Ming-like shape and with oriental-type leaves around the bottom. Above that a chrysanthemum pattern in a Japanese or rather geometrical manner, all in reddish-brown and dark blue, with little luminous blue dots. Height: "7 ½ /19 cm. Simple fork mark for 1918 and painter's mark for Adriana Margaretha Lugthart. Condition: crack to body and chip to foot rim as shown on photos.

This is a fabulous antique 9 inch in diameter late Victorian Delft or delfts blue and white plate or plaque made to hang on the wall manufactured in Holland 1880-1900s and brought to the USA from England around 1904. This unmarked plate has been in my family for years but I'm downsizing my collections. A European, probably Dutch tin glazed polychrome plate with floral decoration. The outer border painted with three blossoms and trailing leaves surrounding the center with a weeping willow tree and a large flowering plant.
