Wonderful two-sided cookie board with "drummer on horseback" on front and "horn player on horseback" on reverse side. Detail is very intricate. Wood appears to be walnut, and is showing some shrinkage. Size: 6 1/8" x 9" x 3/4". c. 1840

Victorian Era needlework, this is a Yard Long, being a decorative Rose theme, intended for placement above a sofa or fireplace mantel. From the Dunham estate, Provincetown, Massachusetts. Needlework measures 36" (1 yard), and is done in vibrant silk on cotton gauze. Iron marks appear underneath the rose center right, being this works flaw, please see photos. Framed in period carved wood frame, matted and behind glass. Measurement within its framework is 46 and 1/2" W X 19 and 1/2"H.

I seldom come across these German miniature fences used for feather trees at Christmas. This one is a very large,sturdy handmade one with hinges so it folds up! One spindle is loose, and one is missing. The green paint is original I believe. Not only for Christmas, but wonderful for display all year. Maybe you could coral some baby chicks at Easter!
