An English "deceptive" glass, so-called due to the thick walls of the bowl which give the optical illusion of an ordinary glass full when the there is very little contents. The drinker can drink more glasses without intoxication. The bowl is cut with roundels and the pontil is ground.

This is a beautiful matching pair of English cut crystal perfume bottles. Each has a sterling silver rim that is marked Chester, England. Original cut crystal stoppers. The pair date to 1898. Each stands 6 3/8" tall and 2 5/8" across the base.

Early hand blown wine glass 19th century. It has an icicle border with cut honey comb on the bowl and an elaborate sun burst pattern on the base. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It is approximately 2-1/2 inches in diameter, 4-1/2 inches in height.

Stunning wheel-carved vase by Muller Freres of Luneville, French, c1890. Vase is mouth-blown of 3 layers of glass and intricately wheel-cut with an astonishing design of Calla lilies. Unlike every other piece of wheel-carved Muller I have ever seen, there is absolutely no acid-cutting whatsoever on this vase,, it is 100% wheel-carved by hand. An incredible amount of work went into this piece.

Very rare cameo glass vase with mythological decoration by the firm of Daum Nancy; French, c1890. Vase is mouth-blown of mottled orange glass and cameo cut and enameled with the Greek mythological characters of Amphitrite and a Hippocamp.

Measures approx. 7.5" high and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Signed to underside with enameled 'Daum Nancy' and the cross of Lorraine signature.

The exterior is enameled in gold with a floral pattern and the vase is internally decorated with oxblood-colored glass.
