Outstanding large clear flint glass covered pedestal sugar bowl early 19th century. I have not been able to identify the exact pattern. The pattern is best described as loop with inverted bull's eye. The lid and bowl ring like a bell. It has a great pontil and the base rim had been ground and polished. It is in excellent condition with only minor chipping on both pieces. The diameter of the bowl is 5-3/4 inches; base is 3-3/4 inches; approximately 10 inches in height with lid on.

An attractive 19thC American (or Canadian) pattern or pressed glass stoppered decanter with what appears to be an oak leaf motif. This 9-1/2" tall (with stopper) blown-mould decanter retains its original stopper; the detail and relief are both sharp and vivid, and this unusual piece, whose maker and pattern unknown to us, is in excellent original condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some chips to the bottom of the stopper (see image). All items are thoroughly and con... Click for details
