An early 18th century Bohemian wine glass dating to c1700-1720. A very lightly made and elegant glass of cristallo type metal with good copper wheel engraving to the bowl and foot. To the bowl are grapes in a vineyard within a medallion; to each side of this; a cornucopia type design above a column and then to the opposite side to the medallion is a fine and ornate baroque design. A very large and impressive German goblet produced in Potsdam c1690-1700 and known as a trichterpokal in German. A gorgeous middle German christening tumbler dating to 1755. There is a matt engraved band to the rim and to the lower part of the tumbler and these contain deeply cut and polished ornate period script. To the upper band are the names of the parents: JOHANN GEORG WOLFF and ANNA WOLFFIN. The lower band bears the name of their daughter: MARIA MAGDALENA WOLFFIN. Made during the 18th-19th century, throwaway scent bottles were sold at spas. Luckily, some of these charming bottles have survived. They usually contained lavender perfume. This bottle measures 7" long and has ovals cut into two sides with gold designs on the other two sides. Probably was made in Bohemia in the mid 19th century. This set of 8 crystal cups was produced in Bohemia in the 1880s. They have no identifying markings. They are 3 1/4 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 2 1/2 inches. Each cup is hand blown with an applied handle and three applied feet. The crystal rings clearly. The cups have raised hand painted enamel decorations in silver and gold, which are intricately done. This set of 12 glass cups or mugs was produced in Bohemia in the late 19th century. There is no signature on any of them. They are 3 1/4 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 2 1/4 inches. The cups are hand blown from fine leaded crystal, with applied handles and a pedestal foot. The color of the glass is a deep amber. They are hand decorated with raised enameled flowers.
