AGE: Art Nouveau (Turn of Century). SIZE: About 3" high & 5" diameter. CONDITION: Excellent, No Damages or Repairs! This vase is a typical cobalt Loetz, very Art Nouveau shape, strong iridescent finish outside and inside, with purplish hue. Decorated with a "spider-web"-like decor, looks like lava. Polished pontil. Nice solid weight, not light. Very Beautiful!

A stunning pair of crystal vases cut in the broad facet pattern popularized by Moser. The simple panels are decorated with extremely heavily engraved poppies highlighted with a striking dark purple stain. Unmarked, but almost certainly the work of Moser.

Origin: Bohemia, circa 1900. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks, one vase has three fleabites (less than 1/32”). Size: 8-1/4” tall.

Loetz produced this fabulous vase, form number 8059 in Cobalt Silberiris, circa 1900. The iridescent finish on this vase is done elegantly with rich overtones of platinum blue, gold, and green. Measuring 6in. High by 3 1/4in. Wide the vase has a flared rim and an undulating Art Nouveau form. Excellent condition with a polished pontil and fire polished rim.
