This pair of Bohemian mantel lusters in green opaline glass are lovely. They feature hand-painted floral and gilded decoration, and measure 11.5" high and 6.5" across. Condition is very good. There is a very small flake chip from the inside edge of the top of one lustre, and a small chip from the lower outer edge of one lustre. This glass was made in Bohemia in the late 19th century. There are no manufacturer marks to identify it. It is 3 3/4 inches high. The glass rings so that we know it is crystal. It was hand blown and the bottom is polished. The glass shades from blue to clear. It is hand enameled with two putti, or cherubs, on the front. The painting is very well done. There is gold trim on the rim. This glass is in excellent condition.
