A Georgian double series opaque twist wine glass dating to c1765. The ovoid bowl with very deep petal moulding, atop an incredibly complex double series opaque twist stem. A conical foot with rough pontil. Petal moulding to the bowl on an 18th century drinking glass is very unusual; the norm being flute moulding. A scarce glass. English lead glass. Good condition.
