An extremely fine and tall Newcastle light baluster (NLB)wine glass. The generous, slightly flaring, pointed round funnel bowl is beautifully Dutch engraved with the armorial coat of arms of Princess Anne, daughter of George II, and wife of Prince William IV, the "Prince of Orange." The stem features a dumbbell knop over an inverted baluster knop, atop a high domed foot.

This is an extremely fine early 19th century balustroid wine glass made in the 18th century style. It is lead glass, and has a large funnel bowl which sits atop a triple ring collar, below which is a center section of an unusual and uncommon cylinder knop, followed by two angular knops. It has a conical folded foot with a rough, snapped pontil.

It is very unusual to find a true set of 18th century lead glass English roehmers, even in the green color which is the most common. To find this deep and beautiful amethyst color set was truly exceptional.

The glasses have large cup bowls on hollow blown stems with applied raspberry prunts, and collars on the upper portion of the stems. The conical feet have applied trailings, and rough snapped pontils.... Click for details

Purple Slag Glass Neoclassical Vase with Swans, c. 1880

This unusual piece of purple slag glass stands 6 3/4" high and is 3 1/4" diameter at the base. Three footed swans support a flaring rim. This is possibly Sowerby, although it is unmarked. There is one tiny flake on the bill of one of the beak of one swan, otherwise, the condition is excellent. Discoloration around the feet simply means that this piece should have had a bath before it was photographed!

This is a beautiful and elegant 18th lead toasting glass. It is of two part construction, and features a flared drawn trumpet bowl, and a multiple spiral (MSAT) stem on a conical foot with a rough snapped pontil. Excellent color with good tool marks and striations on the bowl and foot; pristine condition. Please note that what appears to be a disturbance on the front of the bowl is merely a reflection or glare.
