A large Georgian wine glass or small goblet dating to c1730-40. The large waisted bell bowl with solid base containing a well positioned and formed tear. A sturdy plain stem atop a conical folded foot with rough pontil. Lead glass. Perfect and an excellent example . A rare Georgian wine glass dating to c1760 or perhaps marginally earlier. The rib moulded CUP bowl atop a single series opaque twist stem comprising a spiral gauze with a pair of conforming spiral threads; mounted on a conical foot with rough pontil. An extremely fine NLB Newcastle light baluster wine glass with superb engraving of two clasped hands. Jacob Sang often used such a motif and the engraving is definitely of Sang quality, though, being unsigned, it is impossible to definitely attribute it to him. The pointed round funnel bowl sits atop a stem with a shoulder knop and a tear-filled medial inverted baluster knop. A basal knop is above the conical foot, which has a rough, snapped pontil.... An early 18th century English Georgian ale glass dating to c1700-20. The bowl has heavy wrythen gadrooning below the well defined and heavy flammiform fringe. There is a wrythen inverted baluster to the shoulder of the stem and a basal knop. The wide foot is domed and folded. English lead glass with a slight green/blue tone that experienced collectors will associate with early production. Perfect condition.
