Large leaded crystal, hand carved vaseline glass vase. Amber tinted vaseline glass is obtained by increasing the amount of uranium salts in the glass batch. Maker unknown, but according to one of the world's foremost experts in vaseline glass, this piece was made in England or somewhere in northern United Kingdom circa 1860-1880, and done in the 'Regency' cut, an older cut from england. This is a rare example of an English art glass bowl made to fit in the center of a gas fixture or chandelier. Extraordinarily detailed etching, far more detailed that found on similar patterns of Sandwich glass. Etching like this can be found on plate C156 in Grover's "English Cameo Glass". It measures 9 in. across with a depth of 6 1/2 in.

This crystal decanter was produced in England by either Webb or Steven & Williams before 1920. It is 7 inches high and 6 1/2 inches from the spout to the handle. The crystal is hand blown with an applied handle. There is a number etched on the stopper that coincides with an etched number on the spout. A fish is artistically engraved in fine detail on the side of the decanter. There is seaweed on the other side. This is a unique decanter in excellent condition.
