A truly unusual Victorian pink rolled gold plate watch fob chain, with a horse, jockey and horseshoe pendant c1880. This 6-3/8" x 1-1/4" fob has purple glass inlaid into the chain links (both sides visible) and the horseshoe (inlaid, closed-back). This is a quite rare, and unusual, early 19th century six panel handpainted bracelet with a different bird in each panel. I have been purchasing and collecting antique and vintage jewelry for thirty years, and have not come across a bracelet like this before. This is a wonderful bronze Art Nouveau belt buckle in the design of two standing cranes with delicate beaks and posing feet. The birds are flanking slender bullrushes with opalescent glass tops. Each of the cranes has an inset red glass, or garnet, eye. Buckle fittings on the back as shown in the picture.

An unusual cherub design mourning locket of gutta percha, or vulcanite. Surround is a black lacquered metal with a ball design around the circumference. The center shows an image of a sweet cherub in quite high relief, holding what appear to be grapes. There is a small relief grip on the edge, which enables the locket to be opened.
