The spring loaded dress clip or fur clip measures 2 inches high by 1.25 inches wide, is made of gold plated metal and is in excellent condition. A wonderful Antique Georgian Brooch from the late Georgian - Regency to the early Victorian Era, circa early 1800's. The pin features a wonderful repousse buckle motif with chased detail. The brooch is gold filled and has all of the original fittings in the back. It measures about 1 5/8 x 1 1/4 inches oval and is in lovely estate condition. Jewelry from this early period is becoming quite scarce.

The silk lining is stamped in gilt with the jeweler's name: JOHN BIDEN JEWELLER & ENGRAVER 37, CHEAPSIDE LONDON. The cabochon coral buttons are fitted on 15K gold shanks (not marked but tested).
