Antique pair of Sabbath candlesticks. Fraget was a Polish metal smith whose firm became a subsidiary of the famous German metal company WMF (Wurttembergische Metallwaren Fabrik) circa 1900. We found two nearly identical pairs of Fraget N Placque silver-plated Sabbath candlesticks that were sold by the Lower East Side Restoration Project's collection of antique Judaica. Standing @11 1/2" high, this unusual sterling silver tulip-form four vase epergne is perfect for the table. Each removable vase is cut at the top to resemble a tulip. Sheffield, England, 1911, Walker and Hall, makers. It measures @7 1/2" wide across vases, the interiors of which are vermeille. Base is weighted. Great condition.

Stepped up square base has a design at the top. @16" high x @4 1/2" across base x @7 3/4" across arms. @38 1/2 troy oz. Excellent condition.
