Beautiful English sterling silver ladle from the 18th century by London silversmiths, George Smith and William Fearn. c. 1791. Approximately 13 1/2" long. The shell bowl measures 3 7/8" in diameter. It weighs approximately 7 troy ounces. Hallmarks for London silversmiths George Smith and William Fearn. c.1791. Beautiful sterling silver large ladle by the Gorham Manufacturing Company of Providence RI. Approximately 13 1/4" long. The bowl measures 3 1/4" deep x 4 1/8" wide. It weighs approximately 7 troy ounces. Monogrammed BHA. Marked with the Gorham logo of the lion, anchor and G. Also marked STERLING PATENT 1902. Light even gold wash in the bowl. This unmarked coin silver chalace, likely American, has a turned design, over-engraved with a bright-cut presentation ribbon reading "Presented to Samuel Sivan 1858". It shows normal wear and patina, and measures 4 3/4" high, and 2 3/4" across the mouth.

Beautiful and early coin silver ladle by Gorham & Thurber of Providence RI. c.1850-52. The pattern is called Tipt and was first intoduced in 1840. Approximately 13" long. The bowl measures 3 1/2" deep x 4 1/4" wide. It weighs approximately 6 1/2 troy ounces. Monogrammed on the back of the handle S.I.M.B. Marked Gorham & Thurber, Providence RI. Gorham & Thurber were in business 1850-1852. Very good condition. Priced to sell.

Beautiful coin silver soup ladle by Fessenden Brothers. The pattern is called French Thread c.1850. Approximately 12 3/4" long. The bowl measures 3 1/4" deep x 4 1/8" wide. It weighs approximately 6 troy ounces. Monogrammed on the back of the handle E. Allen. Marked FESSENDEN BRO'S, PURE-COIN. The Whiting Manufacturing Company obtained the flatware dies of Fessenden Bro's and currently are listed as the maker of French Thread as it is now called. Very good condition and priced to sell.

This superb toast rack has incredible lustrous embellishment! Quite fashionable in the mid 1800's as well as today to serve toast, properly cut on the diagonal.
