This is a lovely sterling silver centerpiece bowl by the Massachusetts silversmiths Frank W. Smith Silver Co. in a Rococo Revival design. This medium-sized shaped oval bowl has a deep interior with wavy sides and a wide sculptural border. The openwork border is decorated with engraved flowers, scroll and leaves against a diaper-work pattern, and framed in a magnificent border of scrolls. Two interesting Norwegian .830 silver table or soup spoons. One spoon is 7 3/4" long, is monogramed and dated 14-7-07 on the back. It has an interesting dragon design on the handle and is marked 830S. The second spoon is 7 1/4" long and is monogramed with the letter G on the back. It was made by Marius Hammer and is marked on the back with MH, 830S and the Hammer trademark.

A fine Russian small silver bowl in the neo-classical style by Faberge, measuring 2 15/16" (7.5 cm) across and 1 1/2" (3.8 cm) tall.
The bowl is contained in its original, fitted oakwood box and is in excellent condition. The box measures 4 3/4" (12.1 cm) square by 2 3/4" (7 cm) tall and is also in excellent original condition. Marked under the base for K. Faberge in full under the Imperial Warrant (erased) for Moscow manufacture, 1896-1907 in 84 standard silver and weighs 3.1 oz (88.3 grams). ... Click for details

Charming English sterling silver jewelry box. It is hallmarked with the lion passant, the Birmingham assay mark, the date code for 1914 and the maker's mark for Cornelius Saunders and James Francis Shepherd. The top is monogramed and the base is incised with the date 1920. The box is approximately 3 3/4" wide, 3" deep and 2 1/2" high. It is in good condition but, as the pictures show, it has been used. The interior lining is worn and the exterior shows light scratching and a minor dent.
