Circa 1860. USA. Marked for Gorham. Wonderful pair of Gorham COIN silver medallion pattern open salts with female/male medallion back to back, boat shaped with piercing and leaf decoration at the handle. Oval foot, monogrammed ABC, marked #370. Condition is excellent, no dents dings or cracks, only minor scratching consistent with age and gentle use.

Superb American coin silver soup ladle, the bright-cut flared handle narrowing to a twist handle that leads to the deeply scalloped bowl. The back is stamped with the mark for Farrington & Hunnewell, silversmiths who worked in Boston beginning in 1835.
