Gorgeous and early coin silver salver or footed tray by Gorham & Company of Providence RI. It was retailed by Crosby, Honnewell & Morse of Boston MA. Approximately 14" long and 10 1/4" wide. It is 1" high and weighs a hefty 28 troy ounces. 4 feet. Monogrammed in the center with a "W" as the prominent initial(see photo). Beautifully decorated with a floral, leafy, scroll design. This extraordinary J.E. Caldwell 5-piece coin silver tea service was made circa 1855 by the early Philadelphia silversmith. The firm began business around 1848 and is manufacturing to this day. In the Neo-Classical helmet style with collet-footed base, this hand chased set consists of tea pot, coffee pot, creamer, covered sugar bowl, and waste bowl. Each piece is stamped J.E. Caldwell & Co. Philadelphia 466. Total weight of all 5 pieces is 104.89 troy ounces.

Early coin silver spoon in the classic Fiddle & Shell pattern. The handle front terminates in a raised scallop shell and is hand engraved with an elegant fancy script full name of E. A. Wilson. It measures a full 5 3/4 inches in length and is in fine condition with very minor tip wear. Hallmarked with the -Robt. Gray - maker's mark for Robert Gray (1792-1860) of Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Early American coin silver beaker by Newburyport, Mass. silversmith William Moulton IV. Circa 1800. This cup bears an original presentation inscription, engraved in script, with the name Heber Little. Condition is very good with no repairs. There are a couple of minor dents, the most noticeable being situated near the base of the vessel & aligning with the right hand end and below the name 'Little.' This handsome coin silver presentation cream jug bears the Gorham coin silver mark and is in fact a presentation piece. Engraved on the body is "C.B.F. From Estus Lamb July 4, 1867." In 1860, Estus Lamb, a Providence, Rhode Island gentleman, and Henry Mansfield owned a scythe factory in Forestdale, R.I. and had seven contracts for the model 1860 cavalry sabres during the Civil War.
