An unusual antique silver miniature Lantern produced in Hanau, Germany in the late 19th or early 20th century. A faithful representation, it has a pierced top, back handle, hinged door and a swinging bail handle at the top. It is decorated around the body with embossed scenes of winged cherubs and birds in a landscape. Good sized, it measures 3 1/4 inches in height, 1 1/2 inches in diameter. A wonderful Jugendstil or German Art Nouveau solid silver tall beaker or vase. Super design, the tall tapering relieved by a remarkable band of very high relief repousse work in an organic design. Two interesting Norwegian .830 silver table or soup spoons. One spoon is 7 3/4" long, is monogramed and dated 14-7-07 on the back. It has an interesting dragon design on the handle and is marked 830S. The second spoon is 7 1/4" long and is monogramed with the letter G on the back. It was made by Marius Hammer and is marked on the back with MH, 830S and the Hammer trademark.
