These are 3 DUTCH SILVER ANTIQUE BIRTH SPOONS with a HORSE ATOP EACH.
The length of the largest is 8 5/8"; shortest is 8 3/8". These were made to commemorate the birth of a baby in the Netherlands. Two have dates around the back edge of the bowls; one is dated 1907 and the other date is 1878. These Spoons do have the DUTCH SILVER HALLMARKS. This impressive three-piece set is a "traveling set" of silverplate, likely for a gentleman, and likely an M.D. Each piece, rather classical or Roman in design with the handles decorated with a caduceus, long the symbol of healing and the healing arts, is inscribed "Roma Aprile 5 - 1904". The heavy set (total 7.379 Troy ounce weight) is made of .800 silver, though unmarked. This belt was made for fine use to keep the Cossack Kindjal.It has belonged to grand duchess Olga from Russia. She fled to Denmark during the revolution in Russia in 1917 and the belt was a gift from her to a Danish count.
It is made by Airapetov in silver with niello and gilt. All the parts has hallmark.
Weight: 704 grams. Length: 85 cm. Height: 3,2 cm.

A genuine late 17th to mid 18th century hand made openwork European grade sterling pierced strainer or ladle with a gilded bowl. This unusual 8" ladle has a gilt and pierced 2-3/8" x 2" bowl with a pouring lip, and would be a slightly higher than 800 grade silver. This tiny bucket, probably Dutch in origin, measures 1 1/4" in height (without handle), and 2" from base to top of handle. The frieze around the sides bears a side portrait of a man's head above a rather fanciful winged cherub or angel's head. The base bears a mark "HH". The piece is .800 silver, and dates from c. 1870.
