Antique Laotian temple wood eve bracket. (See enlargement 6 to illustrate use.) We purchased 12 decorative naga (Mythological water serpent) eve brackets from the monks at a Buddhist temple in Laos, to help fund a renovation. Each slightly different and each was hand carved from a single piece of wood. Great condition after surviving under the temple eves for generations. Mounted onto double layer black bases. Size: 44" high, 9" wide, 5.5" deep. Circa 1880 - 1920.
