This lovely piece is centering a pierced-craved cross upon boldly sculpted acanthus leaves and flanked by charming turned columns. Note that the upholstery is in original condition and must be replaced. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 33”high/ 9”seat height/ 19”wide/ 17”deep.

An adorable petite Praying Chair made from solid walnut during the reign of Napoleon III by the middle part of the 19th century. This exquisite piece features a nicely scrolled seatback with a padded armrest supported by lovely turned columns standing upon the serpentine shaped seat sitting on turned legs. Note that the upholstery is estimated to be 20 years old, it might be necessary to replace it. Circa date 1860. Dimensions 36"high/ 10"Seat Height / 19"wide/ 16"deep.

On offer is this magnificent 15th century carved oak polychrome panel depicting St. George slaying the Dragon. He is wearing mid 15th century German Gothic armour with bevour and sallet of the same date. This type of armour would have been worn by high ranking knights and nobility due to its expense, though would have been familiar sight to the master craftsmen who made this wonderful panel.
