Wonderful bobbin lace edged and lace insertions on each end adorn this linen and cotton Italian towel. It doesn't seem to have been used if at all. Sold as found.Measuring 44" x 28" including the 2 1/4" lace insertion and 2 1/2" border on each end! The monogram measures 4 1/2" x 3" . I just noticed, theres a faint stain on far right, that should disappear with washing.

This rich and drapey linen sheet measures 96" wide! The 17" turndown features a beautiful floral and fluer de lis cutwork design continually across ,with a center MB monogram. Excellent condition, all hand worked combination of padded satin stitch,French sanded stitches, scalloped eyelet lace, and needle worked drawn work adorn this incredible heirloom. This case from "Aurea's" trousseau measures 27 X 16" with 5" lace at each end, as well as 1" border of Italian openwork in drawn threads "punto tagliato" at each end. Letters are of padded embroiderery,flowers, cutwork and needleworked fillings. This is the smallest of pillow cases offered from an Italian trousseau made for the Senorina Aurea (meaning "golden one") .This creamy linen is so luxurious,very cold to the touch and it shimmies as only fine antique linen can do!
