This is a magnificent 19th century French trumeau mirror from the Napoleon III era. It has a circa date of 1870. This mirror is classic French with a beautiful faded French green lacquer and smartly shows it’s age with a beautiful patina. This is an outstanding French trumeau mirror from the 19th Century. Having excellent Napoleon III design with brilliant gold gilding and a wonderful painting. The painting is a great scene of a man serenading a woman and it is in excellent condition. The entire mirror is all original and in excellent condition with only a few places that have been touched up (typical chipping of the gold areas). An exceptional antique trumeau! It measures 51W x 72.5H. Circa, 1870.
