Wonderful 18th c. French Aubusson tapestry pillows with great scenes. Luxurious velvet surrounds the tapestry, silk- tasseled borders, heavy raw silk at the back of each pillow and down-filled. In very good condition with some losses including a small seam breach in one of the pillows. Dimensions of tapestry picturing gentlemen are 22" x 17"; pillow picturing animals measures 23" x 22". Pillows may be purchased individually for $1300 each.

An absolutely exquisite French writing box dating to around 1850, really solid and extremely heavy this box is pure quality. Every side of the exterior is beautifully engraved including the back, so still looking magnificent on a desk that faces out into the room. The bottom is trimmed with a twisted rope all around the base.
