A French kingwood jardinière, circa 1860 A very nice French jardinière which is made of French kingwood veneers. It is a beautiful shaped design and is decorated with bronze mounted Sevres porcelain plaques. The plaques are hand painted with floral decorations surrounded by a raised gold wreath. The body of the jardinière is also highlighted with bronze banding and topped with an ornate bronze reticulated gallery. The sides are mounted with cast bronze handles in the Louis XV style. French Charles X period tantalus from the Duchesse de la Roche Guillaume, Seine. This fine rosewood tantalus was made France in early 19th century. The top, front and base are inlaid with brass, ivory and red enamel. There are four Baccarat decanters and sixteen Baccarat glasses. Each decanter is 8 inches high and the glasses are 3 inches high.
