An exceptional antique toy! This lovely Victorian-style room box shop or general store is in incredible condition for its age. The counter and the mirror are both original as are all of the wallpapers, and these are in wonderful condition. One of the tiny porcelain knob drawer pulls is missing and apparently one of the drawers has been replaced, as well as the interior parts of another drawer. The repairs are old and barely noticeable. Such a wonderful and almost complete set of antique Moritz Gottschalk doll kitchen furniture! All of the pieces trimmed in blue and gold! The hutch is 8 inches wide, 11 1/8 inches tall with the crown and 3 inches deep. It shows minor paint loss - nothing critical - and a crack in the back wall. There are two tables, one with a functional drawer, both of which are approximately 4 1/4 inches high and 7 1/4 inches long. Three of the feet of the table without the drawer are damaged. What a great addition to your German doll kitchen! This most unusual blue and white mottled rack has a scalloped pan. There is a hole in the center top so it can be hung. The bailer has a riveted handle. The rack is 3 inches high, 1 3/4 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches deep (pan). The tiny bailer is only 3/4 inch high. Both of the pieces are in nice condition. The 'ding' on the rack appears to be a manufacture's flaw. Circa: 1900-1910.

The German firm Gebruder Schneegass made furniture for dollhouses which was typically decorated with three holes - here on the cornice of this small wardrobe or armoire. This lovely item for an antique dollhouse or German room box is approximately 7 1/4 inches tall, 4 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches deep.
