Centennial mahogany Chippendale style partners desk c1875. This partners desk has drawers on one side and faux drawers on the other. Each of the five drawers has large hand cut dovetails. The entire desk was made from beautiful solid mahogany. The gadrooned edge is hand cut not applied. The four legs have carved knees ending in well executed carved ball and claw feet. I was told this previously had a Wakefield Bros label underneath from former owner. The former owner also kept the cushion for another chair but I can tell you this is one comfy piece!
