A fine Austrian fruitwood commode circa 1750. The double serpentine and concave shaped top over a conforming case fitted with three long drawers decorated with molded facings. Continental pine rent table with drawer c1750, with later top. Measures 32 inches high, 39 inches wide and 26 inches deep. The original drawer has an iron pull and large hand cut dovetails. This occasional table comes from Austria features elements of Wiener Werkstatte and later Art Deco period design. Measures 28" high by 24.5" in diameter. Features four turned legs, decorated with brass wire rings, and set upon a rectangular base. Refinished. Rich brown color with reddish tint. Believed to be made from mahogany. Just a little wobbly, but still structurally sound.
