This is a rare hospital bed made by the Ward company of 246 Tottenham Court Road in London. We believe this is a military hospital bed that dates from the early to mid 19th century. It was purchased by our client from an antiques dealer in Belgium over five years ago. It features its original hardware, including removable hand crank and cranking mechanisms that raise the foot and head of the bed. A late Eighteenth Century English George III mahogany pembroke table, circa 1790. The vigorously grained top with a wide line inlay with two drop leaves over a frieze with a single drawer. The legs are squared and tapered and have diamond inlay in satinwood flanking the drawer. Condition: Very good with rich color and patina. Dimensions: Height 28 1/2", Depth 28 1/2", Width 35 1/2", Center board width 17 3/4".

This wonderful George III style gothic revival table dates from the mid-nineteenth century. It was appraised in 1988 for $20,000 by Anton Rudert Jr. Appraisals of New York NY, a Senior Member of the American Society of Appraisers. It features a variegated white marble top above a frieze decorated with carved fretwork and containing a flush center drawer. This antique China trade chest dates from circa 1890 and was hand-crafted from aromatic camphor wood. Measures 41" long by 20" high by 20" deep. Features recessed pull-out handle, extensive brass banding and stout bail handles on left and right side. Single hinge keeps top in upright position. Recently refinished and in excellent condition. Included here is a matching pair of 19th century aesthetic style armchairs, likely of British (English) origin. They feature their original finish and mother-of-pearl inlay designs of flowers and dragons in the crestrail. Red velvet upholstery is in very good condition and not original. Each measures 34.5" high, 32.5" wide and 22.5" deep. Seat measures 20.5" wide and 18" deep. This item resides on the Upper West Side of Manhattan ( New York city ) and may be seen by appointment.

Offered here is a very attractive smallish early Georgian (1730-1760) sideboard or server that would work well in almost any setting. It has two drawers over two cabinet doors in a nice old finish, great form and color. It is simple in design and construction which makes it especially useful as well as beautiful. The measurements are 47" across, 21" deep and 31" high. It is in very fine condition. The brasses are old replacements.

This antique English Georgian style hall stand and costumer in solid mahogany comes from the collection of Roni Steinberg Sokoloff, and resided in her former 60-acre estate in Bedford NY known as Cantitoe Farms. (It is just down the road from Martha Stewart's estate of the same name.) The stand was purchased by Ms. Sokoloff in the 1980s from Stan Mirkin of Red Crow Antiques in Scotts Corner, Pound Ridge, NY. Included here is a matching pair of English Regency parcel-gilt, caned armchairs, circa 1810, featuring their original finish. They feature a seat rail with Greek key motif raised on circular turned legs ending in paw feet. The crestrail is baluster-turned. Seat and seat back are caned.
