A fine English Charles II carved walnut armchair circa 1680. The chair with an elaborately carved reticulated crest with swirling acanthus leaves flanking a crown. The back legs, barley twist in form surrounding a caned back with acanthus and crown carved decoration. The arms with terminating with large scrolls over baluster form front supports.
