Frog hand-sculpted from a high-quality granite, perched upon a lotus dais hand-sculpted from a relatively soft sedimentary stone. The frog late-Edo Period ca. 1850, the lotus dais mid- to late-Edo Period ca. 1775. Both frog and lotus dais showing very minor loss. Excellent lichen accumulation on the lotus dais.
